This proposal outlines an art competition (Hakutaka Sake Art  Competition) in which artists create original works on Hakutaka sake bottles, and a sake art event (The Art of Sake: Appreciating Art – Appreciating Sake) where these bottles are displayed, artists are promoted and the wonders of sake are highlighted. Winning artists will be featured in promotional materials and invited to design labels for a limited run of bottles, creating a win-win situation in which Hakutaka gains increased market recognition and sales, while the artists gain exposure and promotion of their work.
